Returns Policy

Within 40 days of order shipment, you can return items in unused and as-sold condition for a refund of the merchandise value. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. Refunds will be issued in the form of a credit to the original payment method or an in-store credit for gift orders (less return shipping if using the provided return label). Park Tool reserves the right to decline and return any items that do not meet return requirements. For Warranty Requests, please follow the instructions on our Park Tool Warranty page.


How do I return an item?

NOTE: Due to the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Park Tool will not be accepting returns via drop-off at Park Tool until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Products can be returned by using your own shipping method, using a provided return label, or in-person at Park Tool. Returns using a provided return label will have shipping costs deducted from the refund amount ($8.00 for shipments 3 lbs. or less, or actual cost for shipments over 3 lbs.). Items returned in-person or by a shipping method of your choice will not have shipping costs deducted from the refund amount. To return items, please follow the process below:

  1. Look up your order. If your order is within the 40 day return period, you will find a Return Items button at the bottom of the page. Click to proceed to the Returns Portal.
  2. From the Returns Portal, enter your order details, select the items you would like to return, and click the Submit Request button.
  3. Once the form has been submitted and an RMA created, make note of your RMA number and write the it in the provided space on your packing slip. If you plan on using the provided return label, click the Print Return Label button to print it.
  4. Return to Park Tool using one of three methods:
    1. Select Your Own Shipping Method: Securely pack the items and packing slip with RMA number, apply shipping label from carrier of your choice, and drop it off at a carrier collection point. Please ensure that your package has tracking and insurance and that it is properly addressed to:

    2. Use Provided Return Label: Securely pack the items and packing slip with RMA number, tape the return label to the outside of your package, and drop it off at a UPS location at your convenience. Returns using a provided return label will have shipping costs deducted from the refund amount ($8.00 for shipments 3 lbs. or less, or actual cost for shipments over 3 lbs.).
    3. Drop Off At Park Tool: Bring your items and packing slip with RMA number to Park Tool's headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota during normal business hours of Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The 40 day return policy still applies for in-person returns.

Park Tool is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. Park Tool does not cover return shipping costs unless an order was fulfilled in error.


When will I be refunded for my return?

It takes 3–5 business days to process a return after it arrives at our warehouse. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your return has been processed. Please allow up to 10 business days from the time a return is processed for funds to appear in your account.


Exchanges

To exchange an item, follow the return procedures listed above for the item you want to exchange, then place a new order online. You'll receive a refund of the merchandise value (less original shipping charges) for items returned in new, unused condition as described above. 40 day return policy and return shipping charges still apply for exchanges.


Missing and Incorrect Items

Please immediately notify us regarding any mistakes on your order by email using the Contact Us form. In order to maintain accurate inventory, please contact us within 7 days of order receipt.

If the mistake was ours, we will find the fastest way to resolve the issue. We will ship the correct item to you and provide a shipping label to return any incorrect items.


My order was damaged in shipment

If a package appears damaged from the outside when it is delivered, you have the option to refuse the shipment. If you refuse a shipment due to obvious external damage, contact Park Tool immediately by email using the Contact Us form and we will assist you in getting a replacement.

If you discover concealed damage after opening the package, it is important that you contact Park Tool by email using the Contact Us form within 48 hours of package receipt. Save all boxes and packing materials for inspection by the freight carrier. A web order specialist will assist you in filing a damage claim with the carrier and in getting a replacement.
