Item # CCP-2
(discontinued) / Tools / Crank & Bottom BracketCotterless Crank Puller
The CCP-2 has been discontinued and replaced by the CCP-22.
Pulling off crank arms is the only way to thoroughly service bottom bracket bearings. The unique universal design of the CCP-2, originated by Park Tool, works on both "bolt-type" spindles and "nut-type" spindles and eliminates the need to have two different pullers. The double-end puller nut fits all cranks with 22mm x 1. A special "floating", hardened tip provides long life and smooth operation. The thread lengths of the CCP-2 have been increased to accommodate new, deeper crank arms and the long handle provides plenty of leverage.
NOTE: Some models of Shimano's oversized "pipe billet" splined spindles and crank arms use a one-key release system. If the crank has no one-key release use the Park Tool CCP-4 crank puller.
