During the April 9th session of the 113th Congress, Representative Betty McCollum, from Minnesota’s 4th district, rose to pay tribute to Park Tool on the occasion of their 50th anniversary. McCollum called Park Tool a “Minnesota success story, growing from a small family owned company to the world’s leading manufacturer of bicycle tools, exporting American made products around the globe.”

McCollum went on to name a few of the highlights of the company’s first 50 years and was sure to note that our home state of Minnesota is “one of the most bike-friendly states in the nation.”

She concluded “Mr. Speaker, it is my great pleasure to honor the dedicated employees of Park Tool in celebration of 50 years of commitment to providing high quality tools and equipment for cyclists around the world.” A ceremonial American flag was also flown over the Capitol Building in honor of Park Tool.
