Park Tool Announces 2nd Annual Community Tool Grant Program

Park Tool is proud to announce the 2nd year of its Community Grant Tool Program which was designed to help local non-profit cycling organizations get the repair products they need. The Park Tool Community Grant Program will provide ten non-profit cycling-based programs with a tool kit, two repair stands and repair manual to help keep the bikes in their community running safely.

Each of the ten grant recipients will receive over $1,400 in Park Tool products including:

1 – Park Tool PK-66 Professional Mechanic Tool Kit

2 – Park Tool PCS-10 Portable Repair Stands

1 – Park Tool BBB-3 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair

5 – Park Tool SA-1 Shop Aprons

“Over the years we’ve done our best to provide assistance to as many organizations as we could. The Park Tool Community Grant Program will, once again, help deserving non-profit organizations get the tools and repair stands they need to help them give back to their neighborhoods and communities. These community workshops, youth clubs and bicycle recycling programs do great work and we’re delighted to be able to help with that work. The first year of the program was a great success and we look forward to offering it again in 2017” said Eric Hawkins, Park Tool’s president/owner and chief mechanic.

Applications for the grants will be accepted from November 1, 2016 – December 31, 2016 at www.parktool.com/form/community-tool-grant-request. Winners will be announced in mid-January, 2017.
