Eric Hawkins named Small Business Executive of the Year

Park Tool President Eric Hawkins received a BRAINy award at the recent Bicycle Leadership Conference. Hawkins was chosen by the staff of Bicycle Retailer and Industry News as the Executive of the Year for small businesses in the cycling industry.

Bicycle Retailer publisher, Marc Sani said; “Eric Hawkins has been a respected member of the cycling industry for decades. The outstanding performance of the Park Tool Company is a direct reflection of his outstanding leadership.”

Park Tool Co. has continued to grow and prosper even in the face of a difficult economy. During his acceptance speech, Hawkins gave credit to the team at Park Tool. He also thanked his father, Howard Hawkins, whom he called “a great mentor and a great man.”
