Park Tool to Debut MW-1 Mobile Workshop Event Trailer at the 2016 Sea Otter Classic

Park Tool is proud to announce a new Mobile Workshop Event Trailer (MW-1) will make it’s debut at this year’s Sea Otter Classic, April 14-17, 2016 in Monterey, CA.

“Though we’ve attended Sea Otter many times in the past, this is the first time we’ve been in the expo,” said Eric Hawkins, Park Tool’s president/owner and chief mechanic. “We are excited to help provide the tools and stands so riders can keep their bikes in top condition.”

For riders who need a slight tweak or repair, or need to fix a flat or install a new part or accessory, they can stop by the MW-1 Park Tool Mobile Workshop, Booth 709, to use a repair stand and professional quality Park Tool products. The 24-foot open-sided trailer will offer free loaner tools and stands and will showcase over 400 Park Tool products, including the 28 new tools for 2016. For riders having questions about a specific tool or repair, Park Tool’s expert mechanics will be on site to give advice and answer mechanical questions.

For riders who have an issue with their bike and they are not near the Park Tool MW-1 trailer, Park Tool will have six free-standing do-it-yourself workstations spread throughout the venue for riders to do quick repairs, cleaning and adjustments themselves. The familiar Park Tool blue stands will be set up at many of the major junctions.

“One of our missions is to take the fear out of working on your own bike. A major part of our website is dedicated to educating riders on how to work on their bikes through videos and step-by-step guides. We are very excited to supply the tools and expert advice to riders at this year’s Sea Otter through our Mobile Workshop and Workstations set up around the event,” added Hawkins.
