The Park Tool Tech Summit is a series of HANDS ON training seminars for professional bicycle mechanics. Technical representatives from the world’s top manufacturers of bicycle components will teach the three-hour classes in a service area style setting. These are not just PowerPoint presentations. You will get your hands dirty.
There will be an entirely new curriculum for 2010. During the two-day conference, attendees will learn how to efficiently service the latest products and technology offered by companies like Shimano, SRAM, Hayes, Campagnolo, Fox, Avid and Mavic. Plus Park Tool will offer a class taught by USCF Lead Mechanic Calvin Jones.
NEW for 2010 is a Monday evening presentation on shop efficiency and profitability by John Barnett, founder of the Barnettt Bicycle Institute.
The $195.00 fee includes all of the classes, materials, continental breakfast and lunch for two days. All three venues are located within minutes of their respective airports. No rental car or cab fee is necessary. Special hotel rates have been negotiated for attendees. Students who attend six classes will receive a certificate of participation.
