Universal Crown Race Puller
The CRP-1 is a precision tool for quickly and easily removing the headset crown race from the crown race seat of the fork.
- Universal design works with 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4" and 1.5 crown race/fork (suspension or rigid) combinations
- Accepts steering columns up to 380mm
- All-steel construction for long life
To use, simply turn the two small T-handles to press the thin-edged wedges under the crown race. Then turn the large T-handle to completely pull the crown race from the fork. No more hammer and punch! All steel construction for long life.
NOTE: Blades pulling on crown race will wear with time and use. Crown races that are pressed very tight may also wear on blades. Blades are part number 1170-2 and are available as a replacement part.
