The shape of the SW-13 is ideal for truing wheels while using a spoke holder to prevent rotation of bladed aero spokes. Each SW-13 is made in the USA, and is precision-machined, nickel plated and vinyl-dipped for long service.

Smaller end fits 6-spline nipples with 5.5mm outside spline diameter used in FORE™-drilled rims:
- Commonly found on Mavic® Crossmax wheels
- Equal to the sizing of the Mavic® M40630 or M40494 spoke wrench
Larger end fits 6-spline rim fittings with a 9.6 mm outside spline diameter and M7 threading:
- Commonly found on Mavic® XM819, EX823 and Speedcity wheels
- Equal to the sizing of the Mavic® M40652 wrench
