Park Tool Adds to Engineering and Graphic Design Teams

The Park Tool parking lot is a little more crowded these days due to the recent additions of Max Wunderlich and Joel King. Both men started their Park Tool careers on January 3rd.

Wunderlich, a recent graduate of University of Minnesota with a degree in mechanical engineering, joins Park Tool’s perpetually busy engineering team. His addition will allow Park Tool to maintain their aggressive product development schedule and enhance manufacturing efficiency and product design.

“This is a dream job for me,” said Max. “I am a bike fanatic who has worked in a bike shop for nine years. I couldn’t pick a better company.

Park Tool’s Graphic Design department maintains a furious pace, developing their own packaging, advertisements, catalogs, repair help articles and web content. The addition of Joel King will allow Park Tool to expand their reach into all forms of media. His initial responsibilities will include web content and production design. King, who hails from Milwaukee, WI, is also a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota where he was a year-round bicycle commuter. “In this economy, I was just happy to get a job. The fact that I get to work in the cycling industry with a market leader like Park Tool makes me feel incredibly lucky,” said King.
