Congressman Oberstar Tours Park Tool Factory

Former Congressman James Oberstar paid a visit to Park Tool’s Saint Paul, MN headquarters on Friday.

“I have been giving Park Tools to my kids as Christmas gifts for years.” Oberstar said. “I have wanted to come by here for some time and see where these great tools are made.” Accompanied by Gary Sjoquist of Bikes Belong and QBP, Mr. Oberstar was one of the first to see Park Tool’s new CNC machining center and CNC lathe.

“It was really an honor to have the Congressman come by for a visit,” said Bill Armas, Director of Marketing for Park Tool. “He has done so much for cycling and spoken extensively about the jobs created by a healthy cycling industry, I think he enjoyed seeing some of the fruits of his labor.”

“I can really see a passion and dedication on the part of the employees at Park Tool. That really shows up in the quality of the tools.”
